More than ever I'm starting to feel my age. Don't get me wrong, I've got the hairline, waistline, 2.4 nuclear family to go with it, but like most men my mental age is usually between 16 - 21.

I'd not long been shooting on the Thamesmead Estate, when I saw a video and photoshoot in full flow.  A stereo was blaring about how "someone had their mother ****ing gold chains", models struck poses whilst others sat on the outer ledge of the concrete escarpment. Suddenly, at the thought of approaching them, I felt like Jacob Rees - Mogg at a Stormzy gig. Thoughts of " they won't want an old codger like me interrupting...they'll laugh and tell me to do one" nearly stopped me, but it was too good an opportunity to pass. I needn't have worried. Like most prejudicial fears, they were unfounded; everyone was extremely generous with their time and willingness to collaborate.
